JBH Drafting
How we work

One team. One lead. Your standards.

Most outsourcing goes wrong in the same places: explaining things twice, revisions that miss the point, and nobody who understands your needs. We built our model around fixing exactly those issues.

What you get

A dedicated drafting team

Drafters trained in your discipline who work on your jobs, not whoever is free that day.

A named team lead

One consistent point of contact who knows your projects and your standards, so you never have to explain things twice.

Overnight turnaround

Production runs in the Philippines while you sleep, managed from the US. Work sent in the evening is usually drafted by morning.

Capacity that flexes

Add people for the busy season and scale back when it slows, without hiring or layoffs on your side.

Getting started

  1. 01 · A conversation

We learn what you need drafted, your volume, and how your office likes its drawings.

  2. 02 · Your team is assigned

Drafters trained in your discipline and a named team lead. You send your templates, standards and a set of completed projects.

  3. 03 · Training on your work

We train your team using your materials and examples, checking against your completed work, until their work meets your standards.

  4. 04 · Current projects

Your team starts on live work. Your lead checks in on revisions and anything unusual.

Common questions

Who drafts our work?

Drafters with backgrounds in your field: survey drafters on your surveys, civil drafters on your plan sets, architectural drafters on your buildings. Before they start on live projects, each one trains on your standards, templates and completed work, so drawings come back the way your office would draw them.

Who reviews the work? It's my stamp.

Every drawing goes through our quality check before it ships, and you stay in responsible charge. Professional decisions, such as boundary determinations, are always yours.

What software do you use?

We work across the Autodesk AEC Collection, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit, as well as Carlson and many legacy and proprietary tools, always in your templates.

How is pricing set, and how soon can we start?

After an initial conversation, we quote your actual work. Routine lot surveys are priced differently from unplatted and deed-heavy jobs, which take more research. Once you're ready, we assign your team and begin training on your completed work right away, so you're not waiting on a hiring process.

By the time we touch a live job, your team already knows your standards.
